Default How to create your personal support network

Family members and trusted friends CAN be an important source of support and help IF they clearly know how and when they are needed. In other words, if you have a signup sheet of needs and activities that all can visit and volunteer for, then you will be more likely to get what you actually need and from those folks who really want to help. "Random acts of kindness" is not a solution for caregiving, crises management, or any situation where chaos creates more stress.

I suggest checking out some of the online tools that make this easy for all kinds of life situations, such as LifeEventNet.com, where you can set up your own, private, free webpage in minutes and invite only those people you trust to help.
